Sohaib Akhtar fans will have to wait a little longer before the paceman hits his stride in the IPL T20. It seems the pace man has some fitness problems.
Shoaib Akhtar will not be playing his first Indian Premier League (IPL) match as a Kolkata Knight Rider against Bangalore Royal Challengers on Thursday at Eden Gardens here due to fitness problem, said team coach John Buchanan.
"Shoaib needs to spend some more days with the team so that he can gel well with all the members. Besides I need to be more sure about his fitness before allowing him play for the team," team coach said on Wednesday.Shoaib Akhtar won't play Thursday's IPL match.
Lets hope we see Sohaib in action soon. Kolkata Knights need a rider like Sohaib to see them through to the semi finals.
